    • just curious......anyone watched Parental Guidance on Channel 5? starring Adrian Pang & Jessica Husan (HK actress)?

anyone feel that Jessica's english and accent style is overly, insanely, over-done and over-animated?

the way she speaks and behaves, is even more ang-moh than ang-mohs!!!!

my goose pimples all come out! i cringe!

      pls comment.

    • Jessica Hsuen is a HK actress that was educated in England, hence the crisp English. We can certainly do well to have people speaking like that. Accurate enunciation that is not too overpowering.

    • yeah, but how come each and every bit of her action is like those shrewed, spoilt ang-moh women like that?

even if she used to be in england, she's back and living in HK for so many years liao, should have become easternized, right?

the only thing asian about her is the face!

notice how her finger tweak. notice how her head vibrates with every single word she says.

    • she grew up in england, so it's natural for her to have england slang.

it's like.. when we speak english, it will have the singlish slang. it's just how we learnt the language.

she learnt how to pronounce words a certain way since young, so it won't be lost lor.

but she's great la. that comedy is very nice. only the kids not very nice hahaha. adrian and jessica pwns.
